We’re excited to announce that our partners at Ctrl M Health were recently honored in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards for 2021 in the Wellness category.

Ctrl M Health was honored for its multi-faceted digital health platform and migraine management app, which was created in partnership with Arcweb Technologies. Ctrl M’s approach combines web, mobile, and e-commerce to help more people effectively manage migraine in a way that fits into their daily lives.

Using a combination of rapid prototyping, user-testing, and software engineering, Arcweb helped design and deliver an integrated digital wellness platform that gives users a personalized migraine management plan based on proprietary Jefferson Headache Center methodology, as well as a mobile experience that incorporates relief activities, lifestyle changes, and educational resources – all designed specifically for people who experience migraine.

The Arcweb Technologies team worked closely with Ctrl M Health’s clinical experts and leadership to craft a product strategy, design, and technology architecture that would ensure long-term growth and product success for the company.

“Helping innovative companies like Ctrl M Health create new solutions to health and wellness challenges is central to who we are at Arcweb,” said Arcweb Technologies CEO Chris Cera. “We were excited for the opportunity to work with Ctrl M Health to bring their first-of-its-kind wellness platform to market, and even more excited that they’ve received such well-deserved recognition.”

“We had big goals in developing our platforms,” said Ctrl M Health CEO and Co-Founder Will Gadsden. “We were intent on folding an expansive migraine wellness program into app form, personalized for each user, so they can reduce their symptoms and improve their quality of life. At the same time, we were also determined to make our program easy to use, with a migraine-friendly interface that put our users’ needs first. Arcweb Technologies made that lofty vision a reality. We’re honored to have our innovative migraine app and website recognized with this prestigious award.”

“Design is not just a beauty contest,” said Stephanie Mehta, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “It’s something that can change the world and create solutions in a time when we face pressing global issues such as systemic racism, climate change, and a global pandemic. Many of these entries showcase these challenges while providing hope for the future through their steadfast commitment to elevate design.”

Honorees for the 2021 awards were selected in the following categories: Apps and Games; Cities; Data Design; Design Company of the Year; Experimental; Fashion and Beauty; Finance; General Excellence; Graphic Design; Health; Home; Learning; Mobility; Packaging; Products; Retail Innovation; Social Good; Spaces and Places; Sports and Recreation; Students; Sustainability; User Experience; Wellness; Workplace; Best Design Asia-Pacific; Best Design Europe, Best Design Middle East, and Best Design Africa; Best Design Latin America; and Best Design North America.
